The visitors were 8-0 up a few minutes later when hooker Jake Lewis finished off a wonderful move with a try, a red card for Penlan second rowe Kurt Velardro did not help the home side, Tondu then extended their lead with a sensational move that ended with right wing Sam Grabham crashing over in the corner. Smiithson then kicked a second penalty for the visitors before Stefan Cambriani scored what was already a consolation for Penlan, Scott Davies adding the conversion to make the half time score Penlan 7 Tondu 16 The second half was almost all Tondu as you would expect with a man advantage, another Smithson penalty made it 19-7 to the visitors but despite relentless Tondu pressure it was the 78th minute before the visitors got what they deserved when centre Josh Tatchell crossed in the corner to finish off a marvelous move and performance.
