This game started a with salvo from the visitors some wonderful handling from the backs leading to a 3rd minute try for wing Sam Grabham. Five minutes later there was a try from full back Matthew Murphy following another great move 0-10. The home side were a little lucky to get a try back from centre Curtis Davies befre Tondu added their third try in the first 15 minutes when flanker Matthew Morgan finished off under the posts. Paul smithson added the conversion to give Tondu an early 17-5 advantage. But the homesie pegged them back before the break with a rather fortunare try for full back Owen James. Half time score 12-17 to Tondu. The second half could not have started any worse for the visitors when Curtis Davies sailed through some weak tackling for his second try, this levelled the scores at 17-17 and it was now anyones game, but despite Tondu clearly being the better side in the final quarter ut was a 73m penalty from second row Ken last that decided this encounter, but Tondu will be kicking themselves for those missed opportunities especially in the first half. Next for the waterwheelers is a home encounter with Morriston next Saturday when they will be hoping to turn things around.
